Rodney and Sharyn Babe
have spent 20 years in Haiti, most of the time teaching and training rural people in agriculture, reforestation, soil conservation, and education. Because of their remarkable successes in developing self-sustaining rural development projects, the Presbyterian/Episcopal leaders in Haiti asked them to come to Port-au-Prince (the capital) and teach those same lessons in the fledgling Episcopal University. This church school is responsible for training the upcoming leaders for the church and nation.
