"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, because many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need. Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved." Acts 2:42-47
"the apostles' teaching"
Growing spiritually starts in our nursery, works with our children in Sunday School, through our youth group and in adults inspired to learn, question and act. Our Director of Christian Education and Pastors lead us every day in small groups, God Alive, Bible study and retreats for children, youth, college students, and adults.
Wednesday night Fellowship Dinners aren't high religious drama. They simply are one of many events we share to help us find our way -- ordinary practices with each other in joy and sorrow. Think book clubs, prayer groups, neighborhood festivals and softball games. This dollar amount also includes some of the work our lay staff completes every day. They keep the lights on and the HVAC system in tune for all we do together each day and night of the week. They do the administrative work that maintains our church building. It's God's work.
Worship & Music
"breaking of bread and the prayers"
Every Sunday we meet to share family traditions beneath stained glass windows, meet new friends, sing and pray. Led by our senior pastor, music director, and choirs we find inspiration in music and sermons, and discover grace at God's table.
"distribute proceeds to all"
