Wednesday Morning Communion
Every Wednesday morning, we offer a service of worship with Holy Communion at 7:00 AM in the Gathering Area. In this intimate service, we sit in a semi-circle. We hear one another’s prayer requests. We share in the reading of prayers and scripture passages. One of our ministers shares a brief devotion for the day, and together we pass the bread and the cup offering the body and blood of Christ. As the sun rises over the tree line, we celebrate each week that God’s mercies “are fresh as the morning and sure as the sunrise.”
Centering Prayer
Each Thursday morning at 10:30 AM, a small group of members gather for Centering Prayer. Centering Prayer is a contemplative worship experience that features a reflective reading of a biblical passage several times, periods of silence, and finally some sharing of reflections with one another. Centering Prayer meets in the Parlor, located directly behind the sanctuary.
